(Maya 2018.3)
The older MASH Random Node (from 2016 ext 2) used to have minimum and maximum values for things such as random position values.
In 2018.3 the documentation it says:
Position X, Position Y, Position Z
Determines which of the network's translate attributes are randomized. The value range is from the negative to the positive of the value entered.
How do you limit the values for Positional Randomness to be only positive values in this version of Maya/MASH?
The 2018.3 docs also says something about
Individual Axis Controls
Allows you to customize the minimum and maximum values output on a per axis basis. The node only uses them when their value is not 0.
That also does not exist anywhere in the attribute editor in 2018.3.
Why are things missing when they are in the docs?
Why were they taken out?
And it sounds like some of these things can be quite necessary in a MASH centric production.
