Snap to grid cut

Hi guys,

do you have any tip or workaround to perfom cuts on a geometry while snapping to the grid?

What I'm looking for is some way to cut precisely, expecially in ortho views, while snapping to the grid, because I could use the grid as reference to fine measure the cuts on the geometry. It seems just impossible to do with the available tools. For example split polygon doesn't work like this, slide edge snaps on some % and not on the grid.

If holding X with the multi-cut tool could snaps on the grid would be amazingly fast and precise,
