Hey guys,
I've been skinning a character for a while now and it's getting buggy, it's probably because I modified the vertices after placing the skin modifier on or maybe it's due to the fact that I have rebuilt the RapidRigModular setup that I have on him several times (with "keep the skinning" option).
Anyway, I'm trying to restart fresh except that I want to keep the skinning on my character.
Deleting non-deformer history won't remove the modifiers it has on it. I tried exporting the skin but it doesn't work properly once I put it back on the deleted history mesh.
When I simply keep the history and try modifying the weights it crashes. I tried recovering from past save files but it just doesn't import well.
Can I keep my skinning some way or was modifying my mesh after skinning too big a mistake?
(I only moved vertices around, I didn't create or deleted any vert).
